We are bee keepers as well as a Pest Control company and our number 1 priority is to SAVE THE BEES. Bees are beneficial to the agricultural community as they pollinate our crops. Over the years the bees have lessened in numbers. It’s important to us to save as many bees as we can. For this reason, we put LIVE BEE REMOVAL as our number 1 goal. In some instances we cannot save them and we must exterminate them.
In most residential or commercial areas, honeybees are commonly found nesting between walls, at the eaves, ceilings, roofs, chimneys and floors. Active bee infestations may contain 20-100 pounds of honey or more. Their hives also have bees, wax, and other debris.
The entire colony needs to be removed, and depending on where we find the bees it may be necessary to remove a portion of the structure in which they are nesting in order to gain access to the nest.(Ie. roof tiles, wall boards, stucco, freeze block, etc.)
Killing the bee colony without removing the nest may result in structural damage and can become a harborage for ants, cockroaches, rats and other vermin; as well as having the honey and dead bees rot, ferment, stink and/or melt. Removing the entire nest will also greatly reduce the chance of future infestations. In some cases however extermination may be the only option. Call us for a FREE assessment of your home or business. Depending on how long the bees have been there, we can give you several options to get them off your property.
Over the last several years there has been a decline in the bee population. The decline in pollination from bees affects the crop production here in California and throughout the United States. Our goal is to save as many bees as possible
Our number one goal is to save the bees. We are both bee keepers and a Pest Control Company. Depending on where the hive is located, how long its been there, and what structural damage could occur we will make a recommendation to take care of the bees.
Africanized bees are bees that have been programmed by nature to defend their hive in a deadly attack. It’s in their genes. They are visually identical to the European bees, and only a dna test or aggression test can tell them apart. A typical bee colony will send 2 or 3 bees to defend its hive. An AFRICANIZED bee colony will send 2 or 3 thousand! They will follow you for up to 300 yards. They are attracted to carbon dioxide, so they will aim for your mouth and throat. These Killer Bees, really live up to their reputation. A colony of Africanized Honey Bees is very dangerous. If you have bees it is best to call an expert bee keeper to inspect and identify the nature of the bees and the best way to remove them safely from your property. The quick answer is it depends. We have very competitive prices. Our prices start at $150.00 and can go up from there. Different factors determine the price of a bee removal. The size of the hive, the location of the hive, the level of difficulty of the removal, how high the hive is from the ground, and whether or not we determine if the hive is africanized. You will get a fully detailed estimate upon your free inspection, with no obligation to you, and we will be happy to do it.
Yes, we guarantee all of our bee removal jobs so you can have the peace of mind that the bees will not return to your home. We warranty all hive extractions for one year provided all areas have been closed up and sealed properly.
We aren’t just a Pest Control company. We are also bee keepers. Most pest control companies simply do not understand the bees like we do. Most companies will offer a simple “Spray and Seal” technique that may be cheaper up front but cost you a lot more down the road in structural damage and secondary pest infestations due to the left over honey inside your structure. While Live Removal may be a bit more up front, you are guaranteed not to have a returning swarm, structural damage and additional pest infestations that could prove costly down the road.
